The goal of I Love a Parade is to offer alternative work opportunities, through the arts, for those who have not been able to find success in the current work system and to strive toward reshaping public images of people who are homeless.

Dee Sapper is a self-taught artist who began working professionally as a fiber artist in 1983. Her artistic focus is on wearables such as scarves and clothing. The Museum store offers a great selection of hand-painted silk scarves by Dee. These scarves have been painted using such methods as gutta resist and reactive dyes.
